Custom Game Engines

Custom 2D and 3D game engines

This section features games built in our custom 2D and 3D game engines for our Sophomore and Junior year projects respectively. At DigiPen Institute of Technology, we applied what we learn't in our CS class by embarking on a 6 month projects to create a game engine and then a game inside that engine to demonstrate its capabilities.

Fire Chicken Number One

2D game in custom engine

Fire Chicken Number One is 2D side-scrolling action platformer where the players play as a warrior named Sosa. He is tasked to head to the temple to give offerings to a relic residing inside known as the "Fire Chicken"...

Shaman

3D game in custom engine

Take arms; venture forth; smash the crazed Corrupt King! Shaman is a 3D action platformer featuring intense combat and exciting elemental abilities for you to explore. Save the Totan Race and lay waste to Ruubathh - King of the Corrupts!
